“The 2026 Fintech 100 identifies the startups reshaping how financial services work behind the scenes,” said Aisha Chandraker, Fintech Analyst at CB Insights. “This year’s cohort spans payments, lending, wealth, and digital assets, and what unites them is the data behind their selection: strong deal activity, top-tier investors, and partnerships with industry leaders.”

“Being recognized by CB Insights alongside companies shaping the future of financial technology further validates our approach to solve the complexity of client management,” said Bassam Chaptini, Co-founder and Co-CEO of Avantos. “AI has enormous potential to transform financial services, and its greatest value will come from giving financial institutions a holistic understanding of their clients and enabling them to act on that context. At Avantos, we’re building technology that strengthens the human relationships at the heart of financial advice.”

The list spans 21 categories across six sections of the fintech market, from payments and business finance to capital markets and connectivity. The CB Insights research team picked winning companies based on CB Insights datasets, including deal activity, industry partnerships, team strength, investor strength, employee headcount and proprietary metrics.

To date, Avantos has built significant momentum in advancing AI-driven client servicing across financial services. Through its purpose-built operating system and unified knowledge graph, Avantos helps financial institutions move beyond fragmented legacy systems toward a more connected, intelligent, human-focused approach to client management and servicing.
