7th July 2025, London, England – Boldyn Networks is making big moves to grow in Europe. Boldyn Networks is already a leader in mobile private networks and neutral host solutions, Boldyn has announced changes to its leadership structure and implemented the rebranding of Smart Mobile Labs (SML) into the Boldyn family. The key for Boldyn and to grow a strong unified business in Europe.

The restructured leadership team now features Andrew McGrath as the CEO for Europe, who also retains his roles as Group Chief Commercial Officer and, for the time being, lead role in Hong Kong. Identifying better to support him will be Antonino Ruggiero (CEO Italy), Klaus Nagora (CEO Germany), and Mikko Uusitalo (CEO Private Networks Europe). and Andrew Conway will take a CTO role for Europe and lead all of the company’s mobile private network (MPN) tech efforts.

“We’re creating a great business,” McGrath said. “Europe is super important to us, and this structure, where we understand each local market and operate at our full capability, will allow us to deliver better to our customers.”

As part of the reorganisation, Boldyn has also brought Smart Mobile Labs, a German mobile private network leader acquired by Boldyn in January 2025, fully into the fold. The rebranding means more than just a name. It brings Smart Mobile Labs’ benefits and resources under one identity, supporting Boldyn’s go-to-market with a consolidated, consistent approach across Europe.

This follows the company being named a “Major Player” in IDC MarketScape’s “European Enterprise Private 5G Solutions 2025” report, and shows how Boldyn is, and will continue to, shape its leadership position in the delivery of the latest connectivity technology to customers.

Boldyn operated on a global scale over the past five years – entering into new markets and custom network solutions for industries like transport, energy, healthcare,

education, and military. The new European structure now makes it easier, more focused, and better positioned for regional growth opportunities. This change means that Boldyn isn’t just growing – it is demonstrating that clear structure, local knowledge, and one brand can create significant energy in the digital infrastructure industry. This isn’t the end of Boldyn’s evolution as a company – this is just one more step in becoming Europe’s most trusted connectivity partner. In short, Boldyn is going bold.
