Cube Launches AI Suite to Transform Finance Workflows

Today, finance teams have a large responsibility. They have to help their companies make quick, smart decisions. But many times, they are stuck chasing numbers in spreadsheets, writing emails and responding to questions they should already know the answers to.
To help solve this problem, a company called Cube is releasing new AI-enabled tools that will help streamline and simplify financial planning.
Cube is a no-code platform comes, so now it is adding intelligent features directly into the tools that finance teams already use: Excel, Google Sheets, Slack, and Microsoft Teams. As stated by Cube’s founder and CEO, Christina Ross, business plans don’t fail because the ideas are bad, they fail because people fail to work together. That’s why the focus of Cube’s update is focused on collaboration. Here are the new features:
- Workflows that keep everyone accountable: Teams can now assign tasks, see who is doing what, and track progress without countless emails or versions of spreadsheets. Everyone is accountable and can be sure they are on the same page.
- Web reports for everyone to use: Finance teams can create reports in Excel or sheets and save them as simple dashboards. Other departments can then make updates or check on details without any tech support.
- AI chat in Slack and Teams: With Cube’s new AI, individuals from the team can ask any question in proper English such as “How did we do vs. budget?” The AI returns responses that are copy/paste usable into spreadsheets. The tools have a lot of value for companies right now. Research shows 1 in 3 finance teams feel prepared to meet the high expectations set by company leaders. Even more finance teams feel as though they struggle to get the data they need when they need it.
Cube is working to solve these problems by making finance work easier and central. Cube’s new features are already deployed at select customers, soon to be available to more. In sum, Cube is turning finance work from spreadsheet stress – to collaborative intelligence, quick answers, and confident decisions. If finance teams had superpowers, Cube has just handed them the cape.
