HPE and NVIDIA Launch Modular AI Factories
At the HPE Discover Conference in Las Vegas, Hewlett Packard Enterprise (HPE) and NVIDIA announced an expanded collaboration and launched AI Factory for a comprehensive portfolio of solutions to provide AI solutions for numerous industries.
HPE and NVIDIA came together to launch an AI-as a boxed solution called NVIDIA AI Computing by HPE. It’s got their new servers, NVIDIA’s Blackwell GPUs, faster internet stuff like Spectrum-X and BlueField-3, and some softwares to help control and watch over everything. It’s already part of NVIDIA’s big Enterprise AI Factory thing.
They also made something called HPE Private Cloud AI. It’s like a full setup where companies can build smart AI offerings like chatbots or factory tools using some ready-made plans from NVIDIA called AI-Q. Everything’s already tested so you don’t have to start from scratch.
HPE said that they built this solution for enterprise. The company highlighted features such as multi-tenancy, post-quantum cryptography, and air-gapped, in an effort to assure security and governance protocols were in place.
Along with infrastructure, the companies also launched new hardware namely the HPE Compute XD690 system, which includes NVIDIA HGX B300 with Blackwell Ultra GPUs. HPE expects the unit to be ready for commercial use by October.
Strategic rollouts have already begun. Japanese telecom KDDI is working with HPE to build a large-scale AI infrastructure based on the NVIDIA GB200 NVL72 platform based on the Grace Blackwell architecture at its Osaka Sakai data center. Meanwhile, HPE will also be teaming up with Accenture to test agentic AI workflows within financial services, which will focus on use cases like procurement and risk analysis.
To broaden support, HPE unveiled 26 additional partners to its “Unleash AI” ecosystem, and expanded its AI workload library to more than 70 use cases ranging from fraud detection to cybersecurity.
In addition, HPE introduced AI Acceleration Workshops and a ride-first program in Equinix data centers to de-risk enterprise AI decisions and to facilitate better deployment cycles.
HPE and NVIDIA are working together to provide enterprises with the tools and infrastructure to fast-track their AI operationalization safely and securely. This is an important milestone in the world’s effort to industrialize AI.
