IBM and L’Oréal Partner to Build AI Model for Sustainable Beauty
Paris, Franceand New York, USA, 16 Jan, 2025-IBM and Loreal have teamed up to form a sustainable space within the beauty space that includes building an AI Foundation.
Both companies brought their strongest skills to the table and now aim to change how creams and lip mixtures are developed. The use of IBM’s generative AI enables and broadens the development capabilities of L‘Oreal.
They have identified the links between models for launching and enhancing products as well as for building, testing, and validation of formulations across AI-enhanced resources. This collaboration will enable Nurul Begum and her colleagues at IBM to further scale their existing models utilizing L‘Oreal’s extensive databases.
With respect to this partnership, L‘Oreal said:
“This partnership extends the speed and scale of our innovation pipeline while keeping to self-imposed social networking goals.”

The head of digital transformation and innovation at L‘Oreal stated that the project’s prominence and essence lies in creating beauty science products with advanced AI drives.
