“For stablecoins to function as global financial infrastructure, it is important to have the technology and network to support not only cross-border payments and fund transfers, but also the real financial operations of businesses,” said Bugeon Lee, Head of APAC at MoonPay. “By combining Dunamu’s blockchain capabilities with MoonPay’s global financial infrastructure, we will explore new possibilities for digital assets and work together so that the GIWA ecosystem can expand into global markets.”
Going forward, MoonPay and Dunamu plan to firm up the technical and commercial potential in their main areas of collaboration, namely stablecoin-based global payments, corporate finance and treasury management, and GIWA ecosystem expansion, and to continue identifying new business opportunities that draw on both companies’ strengths.
