Repsol Partners with Accenture to Implement AI Agents
Madrid, February 6, 2025 – Repsol announced today that they are extending their collaboration with Accenture for deploying AI agent solutions throughout all areas of the company.
This project is one of several ongoing Repsol undertook as part of their Digital Program, which seeks to improve operational efficiency and automate processes.
The agents, developed in collaboration with Accenture on the NVIDIA AI platform, are able to greatly automate critical business functions such as planning and forecasting, application development and maintenance, and incident handling.
This change is expected to help Repsol employees perform their tasks more productively and effectively.
Also, Repsol will investigate the potential use of AI agents and NVIDIA Omniverse for digital twins and robotic applications for maintenance tasks at its industrial and logistics centers that will help employees perform those actions more effectively.
On the customer side, AI is expected to help address the problem of serving customers faster and more accurately by improving the targeting of custom tailored offers.
Within the scope of this agreement, Repsol will introduce a more comprehensive training plan to support employees in coping with adoption of these new technological tools.
Accenture will help Repsol foster training and adoption programs for the company’s employees.
Repsol’s CEO Josu Jon Imaz stated,

He also mentioned,

Julie Sweet, chair and CEO of Accenture, responded,

She noted and added,
“The greater deployment of agentic AI will improve productivity and operational efficiency, enable more personalized services to customers, and ultimately assist Repsol in gaining a competitive edge.”
The new partnership highlights Repsol’s intention to targeting advanced technologies to increase operational performance, support decarbonization initiatives, boost customer engagement, and advocate for advanced forms of work.
