SEOUL, 20TH MAY , 2025 – Samsung Electronics has launched a brand-new AI-powered platform, Awesome Intelligence, to enhance mobile experiences in creativity and accessibility. The feature set is made available for the latest Galaxy A-series devices like the Galaxy A56 5G, A36 5G, and A26 5G.
Awesome Intelligence brings enhanced and new AI functionalities over a wide range of everyday use cases. Perhaps the most significant enhancement is that Circle to Search with Google can now recognize music as well as images. Hence, upon circling any on-screen content or ambient music, the user needs not exit the searching app.
AI Select makes intelligent suggestions based on the content on screen for quick execution, such as scanning a QR code or making a GIF. This supports the Read Aloud feature and multitasking by reading text from the internet aloud through the Samsung Internet app.
Creativity-wise, Object Eraser and Edit Suggestion assist users in taking unwanted elements out of their pictures or applying automatic enhancements like background blur or lens correction. Exclusive to Galaxy A56 5G are Best Face, which merges the best expressions from motion photos, and Auto Trim, which analyzes video clips to create highlight reels.
Another standout is the Filters feature. It allows users to create personalized photo filters by extracting colors and styles from existing images. Up to 99 custom filters can be stored.
Awesome Intelligence underscores Samsung’s push to democratize AI, bringing premium features to mid-tier devices. The company confirmed that while some features may become fee-based later in 2025, they currently remain accessible with the latest device updates and accounts.
