Samsung Partners with EA, Xbox to Stream FC 25
Samsung Electronics and Electronic Arts partnered with Xbox to stream EA SPORTS FC™ 25 via the Samsung Gaming Hub on INTEGRATED TVs and MONITORS. Now, fans can play the latest football game on supported Samsung screens with the Xbox app and cloud gaming (Beta) starting today.
What makes this even more exciting you don’t need a console! You just need a compatible controller and EA Play is included in an Xbox Game Pass Ultimate subscription. As a promotion, to sweeten the box, Samsung is going to give you two free months of Xbox Game Pass Ultimate for new subscribers! This includes both consumers with current Samsung TV models as well as newly purchased subscribers with a new eligible Samsung device.
To redeem the free access, TV users can download the Samsung Promotions app to their TV, click the Xbox Promotion banner or scan the QR code on their mobile device, and follow the next steps to redeem their offer. “We’re excited to bring EA SPORTS FC 25 to Samsung’s Gaming Hub” says Hun Lee, EVP of Visual Display Business at Samsung, “our desire is to expand access to world-class soccer experiences, whether you’re a player or a fan.”
The game continues the tradition of football gaming to deliver realistic gameplay and 5v5 Rush multiplayer mode alongside improved tactical controls using FC IQ. The game features over 19,000 players, more than 700 teams, 120 stadiums, and 30 leagues – EA’s most authentic experience yet.
Samsung’s Gaming Hub, unveiled in 2022, has rapidly gained traction as a best-in-class platform. It allows users to stream thousands of games directly onto Samsung TVs or monitors, conveniently without extra hardware. The 2025 TV line-up – the Neo QLED 8K, Neo QLED 4K, OLED, QLED, The Frame, and The Frame Pro – is enhanced using Samsung Vision AI to deliver superior video and audio.
This partnership further highlights Samsung’s distinctive place in the gaming ecosystem. It was the first TV maker to “plug in” Xbox Cloud Gaming into their devices, and now allows streaming services from NVIDIA GeForce NOW and Amazon Luna.
Samsung’s latest move puts console-quality football action back into the living room.
