ITTech Pulse Exclusive Interview with Oron Mincha, General Manager of U.S CyberproAI
Welcome to ITTech Pulse! Today, we have the pleasure of speaking with Oron Mincha, a cyber policy specialist and AI visionary with over 15 years of experience in tech, operations, and global cyber alliances:-
CyberproAI has just partnered with Ivy Tech Community College to transform cybersecurity education in Indiana. Can you share what makes this partnership unique, and how it will directly impact students and the local tech workforce?
At CyberproAI we combine unique technology with human expertise. Together, this creates an exceptional product. Our simulator offers an almost real-world experience in dealing with everyday cyber challenges. You could call it a top-notch “flight simulator” for cybersecurity – with data and networks instead of skies and flight paths.
How do you see this collaboration setting a benchmark for how higher education and industry can work together to prepare students for real-world cybersecurity challenges?
We have a responsibility to our clients to deliver capabilities that meet real market demands. This requires constantly updating technologies and adapting to fast-changing needs. The simulator serves not only higher education but also industry, ensuring professionals remain ready to face evolving cyber challenges. Beyond that, we organize joint exercises between universities and industry professionals. This creates direct connections and continually pushes higher education institutions to adapt to real-world requirements.

Please walk us through your journey in cybersecurity and tech, and share what inspired you to manage CyberproAI?
I lead North American operations as part of a global company. My entry into the tech world began more than a decade ago, building on over 25 years of military service. The field is fascinating and constantly evolving. At CyberproAI, we focus on what matters most: human capital. By advancing tech education, we create lasting impact. This is a mission that continues to make me proud every day.
According to you, which skill sets do you see as most critical for next-gen cybersecurity professionals in 2025 and beyond?
That’s an interesting question. In today’s world, strong skills combined with the ability to work in teams are essential. Despite common perceptions, I see cybersecurity as a team sport. It takes a collective, coordinated effort to succeed. Success requires not only technical understanding of the digital space but also the ability to make quick, informed decisions. That can only be achieved through strong teamwork.
CyberproAI has a presence across five continents. How do you customize your training and solutions to fit different regulatory and cultural environments?
As a global company, our mission is to drive social change through technology. To achieve that, you need the right people. Our professional teams bring strong local backgrounds and expertise wherever they operate. There is no substitute for local knowledge. That’s why in every region, we partner with local organizations and appoint local board members who can guide us effectively.
According to recent reports, this year, around 97 million people will be working in the AI space. AI is transforming nearly every aspect of our world. How do you see it reshaping the way cybersecurity talent is trained and deployed?
This is a fundamental shift that will reshape the entire technology landscape. Cybersecurity professionals are adapting AI at a rapid rate – and CyberproAI is using AI-first tools to teach them how to do just that. We recently launched a new product called Bina. Its purpose is to teach AI, not only to professionals, but to everyone! Everyone recognizes the term “AI,” but many are hesitant to use AI tools. Based on our understanding that society must adapt to this new reality, we created an easy-to-use, accessible solution that helps people use AI correctly and confidently. This changes how technology is adopted and will require the workforce to adapt accordingly. At CyberproAI, we are already leading that change.

When you think about the future, what’s CyberproAI’s vision for building AI-enabled, future-ready cyber defense ecosystems?
Our mission is to empower people through tech education – driving social change and social mobility through technology. Whether in cybersecurity, AI, or data, our goal is to make tech education and training accessible in ways that strengthen security, increase productivity, empower nations, and create a safer future for the next generation.
As we bring this conversation to an end, what’s the biggest misconception people have about AI in cybersecurity?
First, thank you for this engaging conversation—it’s been a pleasure to share more about our company. The biggest misconception is that technology alone can provide security. I believe people are at the center and teamwork is key. I am also part of a team—a strong and professional group here in the U.S. that is dedicated to understanding market needs, Ivy Tech’s needs, and those of our other customers. Together, we deliver not only the best technological products but also the best service.
